the noted Akron, Ohio potter. This free-form piece has an attractive surface
decoration in three glaze colors. The base has an impressed mark as "Jane
Parshall" & "JP". According to the Vasefinder.com website, Parshall studied
at the Cleveland Institute of Art & Cranbrook Academy and showed at the
Pottery Nationals in 1956 and 1960. Her work is scarce in the secondary
market. |
